Default Turn signal module?

Will removing it cause anything else to screw up?
I'm thinking it shouldn't but I seem to be wrong more than right nowadays especially when it concerns anything the uses electricity.
Why I want to remove it is really not part of this conversation.
It is on a 93 Softail.

I think it contains the bank angle sensor so you will lose auto engine off if you drop your bike.

It might stop the bike from starting.

That is the type of thing I need to know.
Can anyone confirm this?

93 doesn't have a bank angle sensor. At least my 93 FLHTC doesn't and it's stock.
Don't ask how , but it's been tested.

You could just unplug it and find out. No?
Looking at the wiring diagram, nothing will be affected except the blinkers won't work.

You can take it out if you want to strip your bike down.. It will not affect anything, including ignition, nothing. As for Bank angle sensor, they never had one but in the original cam position sensor there's what is called an altitude switch.. If you do drop your bike it will shut the motor off, it's built into this CPS other than that you'll be fine..

That’s what I think. I believe all the other **** is part of the TSSM which is later.
Like I said though, what I think and what actually is can be two very different things.

I’ve got tanks off and not seeing anything that resembles what is shown in the parts book diagrams.
Is it what the black rubber cover is on maybe?

Before I removed the turn signals, they would self cancel.
That causes me to assume it has to be on the bike somewhere.
There are only two wires coming out of the headlight so I’m stumped.
