Howdy!
I have resurfaced again. I've missed this place, but with my yearly mileage dropping I kinda fell into the rabbit hole. I still have my '98 FLTR and my '98 FXSTS. This last winter I rescued in FL a '98 FLHR. I brought it back to OH to do some upgrades, like 14" bars, Thunderheader, chrome controls, and a SE intake. The PO added braided lines, top of the line Progressive air shocks, halogen headlight and spots. My "check it out" ride was a 600 mile run to MI and back. Three hours into the trip back, the sky opened up just as the bike started to misbehave. First thought was head temp sensor, but going over the bike I found the dreaded goo coming out of the bottom of the cone. Pulling it out I touched the crap and it felt like pudding. No sweat, I have what I need from the Road Glide carb conversion. Next I went to two stealers, sensor is discontinued, none in stock. I will probably take the sensor out of the RG.
So, here I am, ready to help with whatever I can......... maybe a little humor now and then.

32448-95B cam position sensor. Ronnie's HD is fresh out. Surdyke has them for $183.74. The difference between the HD one and the Standard motor products sensor is that the HD one has a tip over switch that kills the engine if it falls over. Other than that,, about $125 more.
I bought one when I blew my bike up about 3 years ago. Prices were considerably less, maybe $125.
