Great info guys! I found a picture of what appears to be the complete kit when new from HD. Note the two foot rest support arms. I wonder if those (support arms) aren't included in a used kit will the stand fully retract when riding?

I believe the floorboard arms are shorter that stock for the mounting, and yes I had one on an 03 Ultra. It fully retracks and doesn't scrap in corners.
After doing some research I found out the newer display stand version (HD part # 99002-97) will fit my '90 Ultra Classic with HD footboard support kit part # 91630-97. I found both as NOS on eBay..
Let us know how it works out. On my 89, I run an oil cooler under the regulator, and mounting the stand would be an issue. It's probably something very useful to have.
