I took my display stand off last night, as it was scraping in the corners. When I went to take it off though, I realized it was mounted through a hole of its own, as opposed to the crash bar bolt as shown in the photos. It also looks like it is missing a tab where it bolts to the voltage reg. It worked great for the last couple of years I have had the bike. I may put it back on in the future and was wondering if someone else who has one, can verify how it is mounted?

Thats what I was looking at when I realized the one on my bike was the wrong one, or mounted incorrectly at least. I would like to see drawings of the -88 or -88B to see what changed before they got to the -88C revision

Aloha,
I bought one display stand for FLH last year.
After mounting on my 95 E-Glide I take a short testride around the corner.
At the second curve I figured out, it's great if you go straight on or on huge curves.
But for streets as we have here in Switzerland with smaler streets and tight curves its not the right gadget to have cause it scratches the road much much earlier than the side stand or the floor boards.
10 minutes later I removed and sold it.
In appendix the installation manual in English and German.
