Default Motor seized

Luckily I was only 2 miles from the house. Was doing about 35 mph. Started hearing what sounded like an exhaust leak from the front cylinder that coincided with RPM's. I was planning on pulling into a place that was about 100 yards ahead. Then within about 2 seconds the noise got loud. Then I heard a metallic 'SNAP' and the motor locked up.

Got her home and started investigating. Took the rocker box cover off and everything looks okay. Pulled the front exhaust header off and the metal piece (see picture) came out. Put the front spark plug in the pic just for size comparison. Looks like a piece of valve guide.

Also the rear spark plug wont come out . . . ? Got physical therapy this morning so I will tear farther into it when I get home.

I'm seeing what looks like tiny "metal *****" on the spark plug. To me that screams lean. Not sure if it is fragments from the implosion or not but thought I would point it out. Sorry for your misfortune and I agree looks like a valve guide.

Are the treads stripped on that plug?? They look funky.

When that happens, the pinion gear key can shear and the valve timing goes out of sync and all of the valves hit the pistons.
