What price range can you afford? Genuinely asking and trying to help. Not being a smart ***.

I have a 91 and been inside the case. I have a 97 as well. The quality is far better on the later model.

Last of the carbed Evos... you can't go wrong.

To be honest if I wanted it bad enough, I could afford it. I have my 1984 Shovel. It is more a case of "need" and "want". I may buy it. But, I won't be riding anything for a while. I certainly am not going to trade in my 1984 FXEF. It is really about adding some debt with so much uncertainty (health issues, age, etc.)

In my opinion no bike is worth debt. I believe this on a sunny day. We are in dark days and there is no end in sight.

I would never be without a bike. Old Evos are nice and not expensive. Not too hard to swing without going into debt.

Best wishes, get better.

Age and health are the contributing factors why I'm riding. I'm doing it while I'm still able. Enjoy it while you can with no regrets. When I can no longer handle my Wide Glide I got it covered with a Sportster. I am certainly not getting rid of my Shovel either.

I love Evo Wide Glides. I bought my '94 new and in 28 years haven't seen a bike I would trade it for. You won't be disappointed if it goes home with you.

I haven't even gone up and taken another look. It is still in the back of my mind. I stake no claim to it. I have my 1984 FXEF that I have had for years. Who knows I may be able to ride it again before the winter gets serious here. I can't even work on the old girl. I have to limit straining for a month and limit the use of my right arm (left handed anyway) for another week or so. As much as I would probably like to have it, I couldn't ride it home or even push it around to park it right now.

1995 Dyna Convertible owner here. Sold an 09 Road King Classic and an 05 Super Glide and bought the Evo. I'm happy with my decision. I think I'll hold on to this one for a long, long time.
I may add a 91-03 Sporty as well if I can convince my Missus there's a good reason to own a 3rd bike (I also own a 2004 Honda Rebel I ride to work most days).
