It's not much trouble at all, but you will need a 2000 up brake rotor and pulley because the centers are 2.2". Where as the Evo era bikes are 2.0". Pretty sure you're going to have to go with a sealed bearing on the rear but they still make them in 3/4-in axles for that. You might have to get different spacers Just take note that the rotor is lined up properly with the caliper as well as the pulley with the trans.. I have a 2000 up rim on my '98 Fatboy and I got everything to line up..
Your width of the hub is the determining factor . They need to be real close..
