I like it and tan isn't one of my colors. Matches the retro ride.
I've never had a bagger, but I've always like straight rate springs over progressives. I have Racetech's in my dyna (and my past Japanese sport bikes, they're all Showa forks). Get a set of nice coilover shocks and roll out.
Nice bike!
My uncle still has the one he bought brand new back in the day. Same color. EVERY time I see one that color I think of him. You didn't buy it from a guy named Jay, did ya?

No. The guy I bought from picked it up in FL. The bike was purchased in PA. It's been in CA since 2008 I think. Technically I'm the third owner, but the previous owner bought it with 2k miles on it. He owned it for 30 years. In that time, fifth gear became a problem and the lower end started to "misbehave." It was went through in Florida in 2002. The top and lower end were redone and a EV13 cam was installed. It has true-duals, Thunderheaders, and a S&S Super E carb. It has a bit of pull when you get after it and it's noisy, but around town, if you are gentle with the throttle, it isn't terribly loud. It's louder than my other bike for sure.

That was the one. I drove 3 hours there and trailered it home. Agreed, they are hard to find in this kind of condition.
