Hence for me, having to stare at the engine light staying on too long after start up showing you still have a code in the system, even when I know that I have fixed the last code problems, still has me worrying about if another code popped up after the last fix. So tend to fix the problem, clear the codes in the ecm via loss of power to it, and make sure it or another new code down not pop up during engine start up(s), with engine oil light staying on too long after start up.
