I would also say those are OEM that have been chromed. I did that to my '85 FXR back in the 90's, but I also had the flat shaved off.

My Originals Sat Showa Japan on inside...wondering If markings were removed, why Not reflector Pad???
Just a point for replacing the Guts is all!!! God to go long as they do Not say Lifeline on em!!!
