I made the switch to an S&S and like the easy adjustability vs. the old Keihin butterfly. But I have an issue.....the throttle plate will not fully close. It's not drastic, just enough to keep the idle speed around 1300. It seems to only be an issue once the cables are installed.
The idle cable is slack even when adjusted as tight as possible. I seem to recall reading on here that different (SHORTER?) cables may be required (I did choose the correct cable plate per the S&S instructions). Does the idle cable pull enough tension when correctly adjusted to seat the throttle? If so, will a cable with shorter cable movement fix the issue?
If the plate don't shut...you need Longer Inner cable to Outer...Not Shorter.. On Mine, The CV cable is too Long (inner) but the stocker for a Ka-Sneeze works..
