Probably going to change cables si ce im installing new bara. But just curious what the differences in the cables are. Does it matter whar kind of cable i use? Same question goes for clutch cable.
Not exactly sure what the question is, but the throttle and idle cables are different. In a pinch you could probably substitute one for the other. Fact is, you really don't need the return cable but it's a good idea to have both.
If you're asking about a different brand of cable, just make sure it's the right length for your clutch and throttle, and is the right fitment for your bike.

I guess i could have been more clear. I meant to say what is the difference in brands for the cables i want new ones but dont know what brand to buy
Take a look at MagnumShielding.(https://www.magnumshielding.com/) They have a very convenient chart for most bikes that lists all the cables from stock length to + sizes and - sizes. I have ordered from them for both my 11 Sportster SuperLow and my 14 Dyna Lowrider and found them to be of good quality. All the cables are prelubed with Teflon. Ordering is easy and delivery is prompt.
I'm installing Motion Pro Blackout cables currently. They have all black fittings. The quality of them is awesome compared to my stock take offs and you can't beat the prices compared to other brands.
