Help:Quick Throttle Cables question

I bought a kit from Hill country customs and I think the throttle cables are mixed up. How do the different diameters ends work? ones bigger than the other and lengths also I think there mixed up the shorter cable is the smaller dia. end. and the longer cable is the bigger dia. end. Does this make sence? I think the bigger end should be on the shorter cable no? please help

One should have a small spring on the end I thank that's the pull cable.

I would think they are the same size but not sure.
