Changed Brake Fluid today .

Turkey baster should work just as well, can be had for a buck at the dollar store

A turkey baster will work for the master cyclinder but will do nothing for the rest of the system.

I have the same Mityvac, but change my brake fluid a little more frequently than 12 years!!

Actually, I check the level at every 5k servicing and if I notice that the brake fluid has turned a brownish color, I'll bleed them and put fresh fluid in. Don't want the brakes to fade when I need them the most!!

Yep....gonna do mine soon as I put my new rear tire on. I'll be puttin rear pads on then too, so that looks like a good time to change it. There'll be 95,500 miles in it then and the fluid has never been changed.
