Default anyone using stock exhaust?

I bought this bike a few months ago. The drag pipes it came with were too loud. I put the stock headers on, and tried a few different mufflers. I'm now using some stock ones a friend gave to me. I like the tapered look much better. I'm suprised to discover that I like the quieter ride. I can hear the engine instead of exhaust. Yes it's slower now, but that doesn't bother me too much. I'm wondering if there are any 10yr old stock bikes out there? Nobody runs stock exhaust, right?

This discovery comes at an unusual time for me. I turned 40 today.

<insert joke here>

My bike is 100% stock with respect to the engine, transmission, exhaust, etc. I ride a lot; some 25,000 miles per year on average and loud noise is very tiresome on long trips. Enjoy your ride in peace and quiet!

I have drag pipes on my bike. I'm 44. I don;t like the obnoxiously loud sound, so I spent the time and money in a good set of baffles.

I installed a set of Big City Thunder baffles in the existing drag pipes. I have 2" Milwaukee pipes, (3/4" neck with 2" OD length pipes) The baffles sound great. Not too loud, yet not so quiet you can hear the engine oil sloshing around.

I paid $79. +SH and they even sent me a T-shirt for free. Simple instructions and dyno tested. My bike has more midrange then before and that's what you want.

Of course.....I still have my stock exhaust, just in case.............
