This is good advice i change the seal and seal ring on the carb these are rubber and go bad...it a good place to start

Thanks to all, I have managed to get a genuine HD manual from a Harley dealer in Charlotte NC.

I have managed to find out why the clutch has not been adjusted correctly, the screws for the access cover are seized good and proper. Anyone with any tips on getting these out would be very much appreciated.
