Harley offered a kit for the FLHS of new brackets and batwing for a while, although I have never seen one. I bought a secondhand glassfibre batwing for my FLHS and made up my own brackets.

It is likely the windscreen is the same part number as the older FLH style, which is what I recently bought from my local Harley dealer. There are two sizes available. Brackets could be a problem, if you don't have any. If you do I suggest you restore them.

This is the larger windscreen, which I customised:

I put the fairing on. I bought it on ebay. It was supposed to be new old stock. It came in a HD box #58374.91UT best I can tell. It's dated 9-29-92 it's the right color and even has the same pin stripe.

That is the first one I have ever come across! I thought of buying one for my 1990 FLHS, but they were very expensive at the time, here in the UK. They were introduced some time after I bought my bike new, so the part number makes sense. If you got it NOS you did well!

Your local dealer should be able to confirm which shield will fit. The part number you have will help. As I said earlier, it is probably the same as on earlier FLHs, so if you can confirm that then getting a replacement should be simple. I bought my current 80s FLH shield from my favourite Harley dealer.

As for the brackets, if the batwing is on your bike, why do you need new ones? Tell us more!
