BS is my opinion on the conservative side.. What R U, Republican?

Nah, jus' kiddin'., could care less..

Check out Headquarters cams, or Woods would be my choice.

Might as well have some fun. Don't you think it would be fun to blow some Twinks away?

Super E for me, been fantastic once you get it dialed in of which is not hard to do, very user friendly.. Never looked back.

Higher compression will eat up batteries and starters faster.

Good luck with it.

Nickrat What you plan to do is good I'd stick with the HD plastic breather gear HD hyd lifters /Install that CV and add a high flow air cleaner (I use the Big Sucker ) While you're at it (unless already done ) install the new belt/seal kit on the trany It is well worth it The kit has a new belt sprocket/different seal/spacer/lock plate/o'ring I've seen alot of grief when the sprocket comes loose on the road like a new 5th gear/main shaft etc Good luck on this project

+1. On the advice of my indy mechanic, I chose the Wood 6 over the EV27. Since I haven't had both, I can't truly compare them. But I can say that the cam (along with a few other things, notably a CV carb to replace the old butterfly) totally woke up my sleepy old motor.

Go with the Wood W6 and a Cometic .030 head gasket. While having the valve job, have them shave the heads .015 or so to true them up. I'd also go with .030 over cylinders as it won't cost any more machining or parts than stock. Maybe the KB 9.5 pistons (9 cc dome). It should run pretty nice without trying to be a race bike. Great bottom and mid.
