Default Tapping,Knocking noise

I have a 97 FLHTC, just did tappets/lifters and adjustable push rods. no problems for 200 miles. Now i have a top end noise from 2700 rpm on up!
Any ideas?

Is it possible the new ones needed a "break in" period and they just need adjusting again?

There should be no further adjustment with hydraulic lifters.
The sound goes away now and comes back randomly.

I meant re-adjusting the pushrods - but I don't have a ton of experience here. Just throwing out some ideas. There is a lot of discussion about oils and noise. What kind of oil and weight are you running?

Check the adjustment on the pushrods. Something might not have been seted perfectly. Can't hurt and won't cost you anything. Could jjust be your problem.
