I would like to raise the tank an inch or 2 to give the bike a different look. The tank raising kits in J&B say their kit will not work with split tanks. Any ideas of a tank raising kit for split tanks??

I don't know of any kits. You could remove and make new mounts to locate the tank where you want it. The only problem I see is that you would have a bike that would probably have limited appeal, making resale a problem.
