Just thought I would start a thread on engine setup's and see what everybody has and is working for them, Maybe it will help me an others get an Idea of where to start there tune. Here is what I have
1994 Evo
Stock 80"
K&N Air filter
Stock headers W/ Rush 2.25 baffles
Mikuni 42 160 Main, 22.5 Pilot

You should probably limit it to '80" engines, that way the results would be more comparable. This would make the thread more pertinent.
That being said our favorite '80" engine would have the following: Forged 10.5 pistons, single fire ignition, Mikuni 42mm, reworked heads(your pocketbook is the limiting factor), a woods cam(the grind depends on weight and driving style), 31/30 tooth tranny sprocket, a good 2-1 exhaust(RB racing). That would give you a good running 80" engine. You could also do a Hemi-Head conversion, those engines really rock, the torque numbers usually run about 10-15 above a regular engine. Hope this helps and I am looking forward to the others combos.

Stoke bore, K&N, Power commander, SE fishtails with baffles vented slightly, Biff wiffle muffler bearings, Stainless steel anti honda aspencade catcher mounted on my 15 puck full race disc calipers and high speed timpkin vibrolater mounted under the rear seat area.
