Forward Controls

Will the 84-99 forward controls be a direct bolt on to a 1988 FXR?

One would think so, if it's a true FXR and not a Dyna. Remember that the Eric Buell designed FXR frames are quite different from the Dyna. FWIW, I built my own for my 93 FXLR and therefore it was not an issue.
