Default EVO Bagger Guys HELP

Can't seem to get comfy on my bike 98flhtuci, Had a seat guy in town add 2inches to my seat, moved shifter and brake out 2inchs.

Do I need bars? HD tall boy seat?

Im 6' and 220lbs. With a bad back.

Any help on what others have done would be great. Thanks

im six foot 265, and the only way i felt good on my 98 was to use a road king seat, It put me further from the bars/floorboards, and let me sit lower in the chassis, much better feel about the bike. chad.

About the road king Seat I was told I needed to be higher by the seat guy, but my thought was down and back, I try to barrow a seat and try that.

I feel like I'm eating my knees, they ride in the middle of the fuel tank like im sitting in a chair. My stock bars seem low and they are rolled as high as they can go.

yea, the rk seat is night and days difference, The stock seat is bulky, awkward and makes me feel like if i stop too fast, ill go flying over the fairing, here is a pic of my 96 with a road king seat, and my 98 with a tourglide seat, each feel much much better than that seat your working with. chad.

Now,i went with a leprea sillouette 2-up,It drops u down and moves you back, huge differnce between the mudstain/mustang i took off.Just take off youre seat and sit on the battery and belive it not its not much different. It'll give you an idea of where the lepra will puy you.

I must be the weird one. The stock seat on my 96 is the first stock motorcycle seat I've ever been comfortable on all day. One thing that REALLY helps long stints in the saddle is to eliminate pressure points. Those seams in your pants and underwear can cause you great grief after a few hundred miles. I've got specific riding pants with no seams across the butt and they make all the differance.

I'm 6 foot 185, when I got my fxr it seemed like I was sitting on the bike instead of in it, went to a lower profile seat and mini-apes, changed my sitting profile for the world. No more hunched over the tank. Had those stupid buckhorn bars when I bought it, and stock seat. Thought I'd need f/c extenstions, but after the lower seat, all felt good.

I must be the fat bastard here! 6 foot 3 & 325 pounds. Im on an 88 FLHTC. I use a sheep skin & a real nice set of swivel type riding pegs. Seems to work well for me!

I'm 5-8" and can ride forever with my setup, sounds like you have to be back further so knees aren't so locked.
