2" predicted for the ski hill tomorrow. 2" of rain, that is.

Games are set to start. bitter sweet vibe in the city, with the tragedy this a.m.
Yeah, I just saw that a bit ago, Dale... tragic. I hate to say it, but with the lack of snow, and now the luger's death - I hope these Games aren't already cursed... Mary and I will be watching the Opening Ceremonies tonight. Hope all goes well from here on out... the world sorely needs a happy distraction right about now.

Hear Hear, GB! It IS time to go riding. It's long PAST time to go riding. This is the coldest, wettest, nastiest winter I've ever seen in Georgia. It seems like it will never end... we usually get cold spells separated by temps back up in the 60s... but not this year. It's been in the 30s and 40s for daily highs since well before Christmas, and there'll be a low of about 25 tonight that will freeze the slush on the roads into solid ice. It's ridiculous.

The last icing episode we had here, it took a full week for the ice to finally melt and evaporate off the roads, because it never got above freezing for a week. Now I know that up there, that wouldn't anything to write home about - but down here, it's unheard of! We're wimps down here! And they don't have the snow removal equipment you guys do either... 2" of snow shuts us DOWN for several days!

Can't imagine what temps and snow you have to deal with in Montana.

Snow shovels have to be rare in the south, my doppler radar says more snow for the south. I have a seasoned snow shovel that I would trade for a Mikuni carb, If you having trouble getting out of the garage - please feel free to contact me.

I will consider trading even up if the Mikuni has the matching intake

Sorry to disappoint you... but it was in the low 40s here today, sunny, and the streets are now clear! That great thing about the South is that is even when we get snow, it doesn't hang around forlong. Bbt they are predicting about an inch or so more tomorrow night and Monday morning... so you may still have a chance at that trade. I don't have a Mikuni tho... sorry!
