Default CB question

This 95 Ultra has a cb radio on it, which I'm trying to figure out. It came with a handheld mic that plugs into the left side of the console. So far I've figured out that you have to key the mic and press the ptt switch to transmit. That's fine if you're stopped, but not while driving. Do they make headphones for the cb, and if so, where do you get them? Dealer part? How much? Never thought I'd have any interest in a cb on a motorcycle, but a group of us are planning a ride through the mountains this spring and I thought it would be nice to communicate with everyone while riding. Could use some advice on setting it up right. Thanks,
KC

HD accessory catalog had them. Don't know for sure if they still have them for a '95 or if they are all the same. Check with your dealer. I will get you a part number tomorrow when I get back to the shop.

J&M (site sponsor) Sells all years and several different styles of helmet headsets/mics. I have them from my old Voyager and they work on the Ultra as well.

Yea, JM would definatley have what you need! I also have to say that their products are top notch as well.

We use the headset type that fits inside our helmets. We rarely use the external speakers anymore.

If there is a way to upgrade yours to the 1998-newer....you would be better off. The sound system is improved, better radio, better handlebar switches, and it is so much easier to find those related parts for the 1998.

I have had good luck with J&M headsets and other products and if I ever decide to add a CB radio again, I will probably go for one of the J&M complete setups rather repair our older Harley equipment.
