fuel inlet

Default fuel inlet

Well i did it... i broke the fuel inlet on my CV carb....how does it come out? is it a press fit? and can you just buy the inlet?

Is it a CV-40 or Mikuni? What model number & year?

Yep, press fit. Grab it with visegrips and twist it out.

Dealers sell the solid brass elbow for less than aftermarket and I don't know the new part number, but the old one is 27371-76 and the parts counter computer will show the new number. It's a little easier to put in if you can leave the elbow in the freezer overnight, but you don't have to.

it's a cv part #27501-89
