Default Squeeky belt fixed.

I have a 95 FLHT.
I have been suffering the annoyance of a squeeky belt for the last year. I had adjusted it in and out to no avail. I tried silicone spray and silicone grease on the belt but it only helped for a short while. I scrubbed the belt with a toothbrush and soap and water, and that didn't help either. I pulled the wheel and inspected and cleaned the rear pulley and that didn't help either. I finally pulled the inner primary and inspected the transmission pulley. It was so worn that the ridges had been worn to a knife edge and the spot where the belt rode had been worn about 1/4" down. It was pretty scary looking. I inspected the entire belt and it looks as good as new. I replaced the pulley and now the annoying squeak is gone.
