Default Samson Duals

Wanting to put Samson True Duals on my 94 Heritage, but Samson no longer makes the pipes for it. They tell me that the current version will fit, but that I'll have to tap the frame for one of the bolts. Has anyone tried this and how was the result?

I have Samson true dual pipes on my 1990 FLHS. I have no idea what they are talking about with the frame bolt! Mine fits very tight over the top of the primary casing and is nibbling at it a bit, so you may have fun trying to keep them apart. The stock bracket that mounts off the starter won't fit, but I regret not keeping mine and modifying it.
