Default Fork oil change

I have to change fork oil on a 92 FLHTC. Anybody got any suggestions on how much of the fairing needs to come apart to get to the top of the forks?

You don't need to disassemble anything except the drain plugs and schrader valve from the end of the left handlebar...

Release any air presure by removing the schrader valve in the handlebar end. Remove the oil drain screws at the bottom of each fork until drained (they don't hold much - 8 oz. each). To refill, apply vacuum to the air valve on the handlebar and with a drain plug screwed into the opposite side, lightly suck oil up into the forks one at a time with a small hose stuck into the oil bottle and the other end pressed against the fork at the drain hole. When both are refilled, replace the schrader valve, pump them up to 15psi or whatever and your done.... it takes about 10 minutes. (After you've found all the tools, vacuum pump and hose - still quicker by far than pulling the outer and inner fairing)

What he said. The dealers don't even do it like the FSM says to. I went the FSM route... Once. Never again. I can't even imagine how much 'stuff' needs to be removed from a batwing fairing....
