This outfit has Clymer manuals cheap; http://www.cyclemanuals.com/C/Ha/421-3.htm
I know a lot of guys say the H-D manuals are the best, but I think my '92 manual sucks. What few pictures there are are poor quality, the index stinks so you have to just page through it to find what you want, and the descriptions are often slapdash. However, I have no personal experience with the Clymer.

I have used Clymer and Haynes manuals over the years, although I don't have them for any of my current bikes. Frankly they are so general that finding something really useful in them, except the most basic stuff, is unlikely. No matter how poor a Harley manual may be it is the best available to us! Get the parts manual as well, which gives every part on your bike, plus exploded diagrams.
I got a 96 H-D manual that covers most stuff. You need to get a parts manual also to help link the shortcomings in the service man.Between the two it's pretty complete.
