I run Terry/ fisher balancers off the engine shaft These bikes are rigid mount 96 S&S motors These balancers made alot of the vibs go away but vibration on this stroke size comes with the territory I don't know if Terry/fisher is still in bus anymore These balancers were in the $300 price range
I will have to check these out I found the balance masters dampner and it is about $140 bucks. Even if it cut the vibes down by 50% I woud be more than happy. A little bit does not bother me one bit but I just dont like it when it is painful to ride and numbs the hands!
So can anybody tell me about balance masters? I would like to know if they actually help or not. Thanks!
The only place I have heard of them is one of those books on 101 things we can do to our Harleys. Sounds a bit like black magic, but not too expensive from what I see, to find out if they work.
Anything above 65MPH my EVO vibrates soo bad its no fun to ride.
I just installed one balancer on my compensator and one on the clutch. I will report back in a couple of days as to the result.

pls do.. u guys just got me interested in this issue if it can be solved or partially solved...
although, I heard it was not wise to put them in the compensator... I read it in the touring forum I think... here's the link
I was very hopeful that this was going to fix my vibration issue. Unfortunately I have to report it did not. Took a 250 mile ride and there was no difference in the amount of vibration with a balancer on the compensator and the clutch. Yes you can run both at the same time. So its back to plan A. Remove the motor this winter and have it balanced.
haven't had time to look for more info on them... but it says "Evolution" and it claims to be a rubber mount for the engine, and specs state it will fit 1908 bikes until present reducing 20% of vibration...
twinkies have rubber mounted engines, so I'd say it's a valid proposition.. they appear to have more options for vibration reduction too
I'll dig in to see what else can I find about it
Because they sent me the wrong part for the clutch, I did try just the compensator one by itself while waiting for the right balancer for the clutch. It didnt help so I was hoping the one for the clutch would be better. It wasnt. They have a money back warranty so its going back. I'm not saying this wouldnt work for someone else it just didnt work for me.
