im new hear my first question, first of many to come
okay i have an 87 fxr i just did the drag specialties smoked turn signals now they dont blink on there own i dont under stand because all it is is the lense and a amber replacment bulb any ideas whats the numberbulbs i should run i might try buying some more bulbs but they have to be amber
If the bulb is lighting up but not blinking, your new bulb probably takes less current than the stock 1156/1157 bulbs. The new ones aren't LED's, are they? You can either buy amber 1156 and/or 1157 bulbs and put them in place of your new ones or buy a new blinker module that doesn't depend on the current draw to cycle. superbrightleds.com has one for a few bucks, but I think most of the replacement ones at the auto parts stores are all solid state these days too, so they would probably work as well.
