I put this together and hoping it might save someone some time. 893 or 898 bulbs to replace the 881 bulbs in the passing lamps. I'm not sure it's worth the lower life and the modification to fit 893 bulbs for the extra lumens. The 893 bulbs in the chart were the upgraded bulbs not standard. The 898 I think only comes in standard as does the H9. I couldn't find any "upgraded" bulbs with fancy names and packaging for 898 or H9. There are Sylvania SilverStar bulbs as well as Osram SilverStar 2.0 bulbs. Other forums I have read indicate that the Osram bulbs are the quality bulbs and the Sylvania bulbs are of lesser quality. As we know Osram is the parent company of Sylvania.

 

Anyone running 893 bulbs with the 200 hrs life....how many hours do you think they have lasted?
