wiring passing lamps on a 1200 sportster

Default wiring passing lamps on a 1200 sportster

Still need some help with this! One guy said I could use a relay from a auto store and a inline fuse and that was it?? where do I wire it to??

Default wiring spotlights in a 1200 sportster

I can't get any wire's in the head light bucket!!where else can I go with the new hot wire for the spot lights??

Well, you could run a wire from the + battery terminal to a fuse, then to a relay, then to the passing light or other accessory, with the switch to control the relay coil wired to whatever you want.

Keep in mind that Sportsters don't have a whole lot of extra amps laying around.
