Tuning My Evo after some mods
Got a 98 WG. Had a V&H pro pipe, SE Air Cleaner and Mikuni 42. Bike ran ok, a little lean but not bad. Installed a EV-27 cam, lifters, push-rods, had to set the jet needle to richest setting and installed a 170 main jet. Ran good, plugs ok, front richer than rear, but now I installed a dyna 2000 tunable ignition and bike runs great but is super rich any ideas on how to tune it out? I dropped the jet needle down a notch but no dice. I assume i'm running 1/4 throttle or under at highway cruising speeds. Should I go to a smaller main jet? Thanks in advance. --Joey
