bike not charging please help

Default 87 harley fix ( loose ) magnets

Mine fell out. No money ? Took it apart .lost three magets . Read that it is a common problem , mine sat a long time with to much primary / trans oil. Not sure if that contributed but I have no money. I cut the side wall out of a stainless steel pot and glued it and a few magnets that had the same amount if push pull north south 8 round manets 4 north up 4 south up per lost magnet 24 total .rewired my stator and ground off .453 evenly all the way around to make room for the new pot / sheild magnet retainer. Magnets glued in with standard jb weld. I painted my rotor inside and installed it over the stator without the chain it rubbed a little so I took off another .05 off the stator and put it all back together total money I had to borrow 50 $ total labor 8 hrs. I cant over emphasis how clean the work must be and helps to bake the rotor in an oven to cure at 150ş I.m not possative of my amperage push yet but my guess is 19 amps . And Boy does it run smooth . I hold 50 mph with less than 1/16th throttle in 4TH with a 52 tooth rear sprocket and went from 35 mpg to an increase up to 50 mpg. I want to say f__k you China for never answering my plite and Thanks to Harley Mechanics and a few others that were willing to help with knowledge by releasing free info and pictures.Magnet co. Veiw michael jon wawrzyniec at facebook for pictures of sheild epoxy installation for loose magnet s I used a stainless pot , cut and replaced magnets. Runs better than ever !

I have thought about rewiring a stator and using stronger magnets. I think on this era Sporty, that's the only option for trying to get more amps. I don't facebook, so can't see your work, but good job.
