Bugs
Coming down last night through Sheffield MA and into Canaan CT, along the Housatonic River, there were so many bugs in my headlight it looked like it was snowing! This is what it looked like when I got home:

Absolutely.
I mean, there's bugs every night. But this was unusual. I did see something similar one night earlier this year when riding along the Farmington River. There must be some sort of hatch that happens that sends thousands of these bugs out at once.

Once me and the old lady went thru the Magee marshes wildlife preserve in Ohio. Same thing but worse. It was like are 2nd or 3rd little road trip and she was pissed. And they laugh at our farings and windsields.
