this has happened to me more than a few times. ill take my bike out for a ride and theres literally no vibration. i mean its almost like having a electric motor. runs the same, same power and idle. i know im suppose to have a smooth vibration but none, well that strikes me as something being wrong. i know its not the tires, it seems like something to do with the engine. almost like it comes into perfect balance for a while. any thoughts on this. hope this isnt one of those = all is quite before the storm, things.
OMG! put a bullet through the engine, errr... tranny... I don't know, somewhere not bullet proof but put it out of it's misery before it transforms into a hideous twinkie!!! pleasEEE :S
yuk yuk, real funny. it would be great to find out why it does this and be able to keep it there. nice to not have my fingers get numb after riding for a while.
I don't mean to put down your concerns, but at times I worry cause I can hear every gear and chain clang around in there. Its strange that at times I can hear every little strange noise, and that upsets me, then other times, I know the same sounds are there, I just never hear them. my.02 Maybe its all in my head?
My TC is nothing like as smooth as my Evo or Buell!
My first Harley was a new shovel and that varied a lot the way it ran. It was best in the pouring rain, like a wild thing, when you most needed it to be tame.
Is this just a passing thing, a change of weather, or new oil or something like that? At least get out there and enjoy it, before it changes its mind!
maybe u could give us the list of things u did right bfore the vibrations smoothened... maybe we can replicate the effect on ours and get a better feel of it :P
