No offense taken! Cant say that I am a blue hair, but gray around the edges. I am same age as you. I turned 53 in June. Most of the gray hairs are along the coasts. Here on Lake Okeechobee it is not too bad. Being a native of Florida, I feel the same way. Anything below 60 is too dang cold for me.
Sorry about your friend Doc.
MJ is right and we are in leathers under 60!. The heat and humidity in the summer here are killers not to mention the afternoon thunderstorms. Sweating at a stoplight definately sucks. We are really looking forward to mid October when the temps and humidity drop. Then that's when you have to be on the lookout for the flock of snowbirds that arrive. Of course Hurricane season is not over until the end of November. So far, we've been lucky this year.
I live down in the tropic and man has my riding seasoned been f@#$ with all the heavy rain falling OFF-SEASON!!! strange weather this year, usually it starts raining fairly "Soft" around this dates and gets heavy during hurricane season until early december, but this year... it's been raining since early july!! and darn heavy rain! even slate :S
