I've been trying to contact STD to order a set of heads for a customer, they are no longer in business. That's sad as they has a great product and before he died Lou was a great guy to talk to. He was missed and now his products will be too!!!!!

STD = Sexually Transmitted Disease, there, George, and we're all glad your STD is gone. Unless it was that supplier thing, then we don't know what you're talking about.

 

Makes perfect sense to me. Sad to see another good supplier of parts go the way of the dinosaur. Luckily there are other options.

 

While linking the two versions of STD is understood, it does seem a strange way to reply to someone's death and the closing down of a well established Harley specialist. Unnecessary and unwelcome!

Yes I am talking about the parts supplier. Great place to do business with, Lou was a very knowledgeable and inovative individual. After his death they tried to do business as usual with no luck. I heard the business was sold to an Australian company and hoped they would do the right thing. But alas they cannabalized it and sold off the machinery. The Harley world is missing a big hunk of real estate right now.
