Nice! Looks familiar, mines the identical motor, black and chrome. I have a love hate relationship with black/chrome. Looks great, takes twice as much maintenance when I'd rather be riding. Kinda sums up my feelings about Vivid Black too! ;-)

Ah, yes. A fellow chrome *****! Yeah, those chrome covers on your bike are the exact spot on my bike that if felt needed chrome to finish her off. What can I say, I like shiny motorcycles. I assume those are the covers you pulled off and are sending to me in lieu of you installing new lifter blocks?
Shovhd, I looked at that set. Had woodnbow not made this generous offer, they were in the running. I probably was going with the molded ones, but I was looking at them all.
Woodnbow, there was a awesome swap meet here in VA this Sunday. They had boatloads of the chromed blocks and covers. My only problem is I ran out of money on OTHER stuff before I bought a set of covers. And I thought it better to pass on cheap stuff I can get new, than visa versa. I would bet anything if your swap is like ours, there will be tons of them there. I picked up a flawless set of chrome dogbone offset risers for my springer for 30 freakin' bucks! The deals are out there.
Oh Yeah! Much better than Ebay! I'm looking for those and an FLH or FLHR gas tank for my FXR... I've got a feeling the she'll be thirstier this year after the top end work and an extra gallon of fuel would come in handy.
I have the square Kuryakyn covers and they match the square rocker box covers of an evo perfectly. They actually come with standoffs that you use to bolt down the tappet blocks. One at a time so the tappet blocks don't move. The standoffs are threaded and you bolt the covers to the standoffs. Like an ignition plate standoff.
I just did a search although I've looked at them in the past. There are some that just fit over with the sticky tape or adhesive but there's other ones that actually bolt on.You remove the original bolts, put the cover on and replace the bolts with chrome ones. There's a bunch on ebay.
Here's one to look at: 320607077488 $28.49
Rocketman, these are similar to the ones i bought. They are the stick on ones too. The new bolts just go in place of the old ones to give a 'bolted on' look.
