I've got Fullsac true duals with Vance & Hines 3" fishtails.I removed the baffles at first but I wa afraid they were too loud so I put them back in.Too tame so I pulled them back out.I'd like to come up with some kind of modification to these baffles but still get at least 80%of the no baffle sound.Any suggestions here?
I ran 1/5 and 1/4 baffles in a set of V&H pipes with good results. Just kept cutting them to get where I want. I also ran the old washer trick a few times and it worked great as well. The washer trick keeps the volume but get rid of the gargling loud noice on decel. Big City thunder also makes a good set up if you want to pay about 80 bucks.

You could always cut them some and see what you think. Try a half first and go from there. One thing that is cool about big city thunder is they will give you instructions as to where you should mount them for the best sound. Meaning how far up in the pipe. I went the cheap route and made my own with a washer welded to a bolt.

I think I will try that old trick, especially since I have the hole and bolt at the end of my pipes already where the baffle bolts in. Any suggestion to the size of the washer? If I remember correctly, the washer should be close to the center of the pipe diameter??
One more thing. I used a machine screw with a flat tip head instead of a bolt. This makes welding much much easier. You can just hold the washer in the flat tip slot and hit it with the welder For the washer size and spacing I following the instructions on the site I posted above.

I remember now I had found that info on that site, which by they way, has some great information.
Thanks for the tips! What I think I'll do is make some washer ones and some thumb screw ones and see what works/sounds best.
