I took off my carb as I had the dreaded fuel inlet issue, it was cracked and leaking fuel.
In the process, this hose on the very bottom also came off the other end, wherever that would be, and for the life of me, I cant find it. I am looking at the diagram in the manual, and some searching on the forums, still nothing.
Can someone tell me where the other end of this little hose goes?
Rob, it's an overflow hose, to take away gas if the carb overflows! Feed it down below the engine to front or rear of the crankcases, so it clears the exhaust.
What direction does it route? Thru the v of the engine?
It just needs to take the shortest route down towards the ground, either in front of the timing chest, or past the oil pump, preferably to just below the frame. I also have pipes from the gas tank and from under the filler flap and they all go down below the frame.
