I did a stupid thing. I hit my guage cluster on my 86 eglide other day with a screwdriver. Well I cracked the plastic lens on it! Now since it sits outside, i have condensation gettng into it in the mornings and am afraid it is going to short out something much less looks bad now.
Any idea on who may have one, other than lookinng on ebay? Prob noone but thot id ask.
Check out the following link. They don't go back as far as the '86 but if I am not mistaken it has the same gauge cluster as my '95 (which they do have parts for).
You will want to click the instrument assembly link on the left and go from there.
Best of luck.
Also, if they can't help you out. I have a full gauge cluster for the '95 in my garage left over from a project that I just finished. (it is in pieces but they are all there) Just give me a yell if you need anything else.
I have seen These guys sell Speedo/tach sets on Ebay. They are around 50 miles from me. They have a lot of parts. They buy salvage bikes and strip them and sell the parts. I would call them. Their web site kind of sucks. It doesn't list everything they have. http://www.pinwallcycle.com/
well, to update, all had to do was ask my local GOOD hd dealer and he found it on page 109 of the parts book! 13 dollars! It should be here tommorrow! Actually, I cant believe they can still get it but he ran it down. Now thats a new one. Somebody at the dealer wanting to help with an older evo bike. So, if anyone is in Fla. and needs something not easily found, Gainesville HD will at least put an attempt in.
