question about axle spacers...

Are those the spacers that run in the seals? I had a chromed one that flaked off in my 99 Softail Custom, and the Harley dealer had to order one for me. The chrome was flaked off where it runs in the seal, and cutting the seal. Needless to say, it was not sealing any more. Replaced the seal and the spacer, and all was good.

Two spacers will be fine...don't waste your money having spacers made...buy them here

while i'm waiting on the two spacers i figured i'd swing by the local machine shop that shaved down the belt pulley flange 1/4 inch to pick up a zinc 1 5/8 just to mock things up....
i don't think it could be more spot-on (insert a 'patting-self-on-back' emoticon, here)
