Default Head Light Issues

Need a Little Help,

Bike: 1990 FXSTC
Issues: Had a short in the handle bars, so I rewired the the bars. While I was doing this I realized the head light was not wired properly so I attempted to follow the wiring diagrams but it will not work.

Note: I do remember where the yellow wire was connected, but I can't remember what the white wire was connected to. Any ideas?

I don't have wire diagram for a st but it does cover an fxr which is pretty much the same. Yellow is the low beam and blue is the high beam. Yellow from handle bar switch to headlite, on other side of switch you have the white wire which goes to hi beam and hi beam indicator, from handle bar switch you have the blue which will go to lights circuit breaker.

Thanks for the info, I am trying to hook up the head light, do the yellow and white wires go directly to the high/low beam switch?

Yes Yellow and White go directly to the high/low beam switch and blue is the headlight power for either high or low.
