Did the rake change through the years on the dyna wide glides??? I just picked up a 93 and im getting ready to throw the 21" front wheel on it and i look at pics of other wide glides and it looks like they have more rake then mine? Is it because is till have the old 16" front wheel with huge tire and fender? Thanks!

 

I think a standard Dyna is 28 degre rake and a wide glide Dyna is 31 degre rake

 

All the old Wide Glides have a 32 degree rake, the new ones are 34.

 

I have a 2006 and I know the rake in the neck and in the trees both went up for the 2006 models.

 

Theres a little more to it than just that. Your generation Wide Glides have raked trees as do the '06 and up. I forgot the total rake figures, but the stock Wide Glide trees add about 2ish degrees of rake to the total. If it appears that your bike is lacking the rake that is prevalent in the Wide Glides of that era, its possible some one may have changed the front end. Also, the fork tubes are about 4 inches longer on Wide Glides than other Dyna's.
