Default "95 EGC Lifter Change

Getting ready to change out the lifters on my '95, 80" EGC w/ EV27 cam. I am going to do this myself - looks pretty straight forward. Are HD lifters the way to go here or are there aftermarket lifters that outlive/out-perform the stockers?
I could also use any advice or useful info not directly in the shop manual.
Thanks in advance.

Be sure to swap out the cam bearing too. 95's had the crappy bearing that grenades and then takes out the motor, especially if you swap the cam out to a better one.

HD "B" lifters are good. There MIGHT be others that are better, there are probably some that are as good, but with the HD B's, you know you have good.

There's a thread on here somewhere with a good pictorial how-to on the whole thing, including the cam bearing.

Thanks guys.
The good cam bearing went in with the EV27 and the adjustable pushrods. I'll look for the pictorial post.
