There's a long discussion on the General Chat section about excess heat with bigger bore Twin Cams, even a lawsuit. Glad to say, my Evo runs smooth and cool.
It's a little 883, but still, I don't even NOTICE any heat at all unless it's over 80 and I'm sitting still. And then it's barely even noticable sitting on the seat.
Can't really say the heat from the engine is out of the ordinary but I do get some heat off the rear pipe and that's on the hiway when its real hot out.
U guys must be running stock evos. Bump the compression to 10:1 or more, add a cam and u would will feel the heat like me, my oil temp gauge usually reads around 200-210 deg. And thats talking it easy on the throttle.

Yep stock except for a HQ cam. I prefer to think I'll get a higher milage engine out of stock. Oops did I say that out loud.
