Don`t be in such a hurry to condemn the transmission...

Have you checked the primary chain tension?

Do you hear the noise when the bike is not moving?

You might get an expert to listen to it. They all make some noise. It's part of the "charm." For example, a cam gear that's too tight will make a noise that varies with engine speed, might sound like the transmission, and really means nothing at all, except the cam gear mesh could be a little looser.

Square gears make noise. There is probably nothing wrong.

Well, for a recap and more info, while riding, noise there in every gear, higher pitched, goes away when clutch pulled in. Haven't heard it before. Primary chain is a o k. checked it the other day. Is it the possibility that when my wife and I are on it, the belt may be tightening to much and causing strain? I have my shocks lowered down to lowest setting. Just an fyi. I am going to do a solo ride when rain clears and do the pepsi challenge. If it's still there, yes I am going to have someone listen to it. Once again, thanks for all the input.
